6th Sidcup Brownies were very excited to be camping with their fabulous team of young Leaders. Would be great to see more younger girls having opportunities like this. Well done to the Leader team and their DC, Janice, who had 'home grown' most of them!
Enjoyed our picnic lunch on the bottom site in the sunshine, watching a Guide Unit and a SS Unit from Kent West moving on site for the week. Looking forward to catching up with them again on Tuesday.

Chris, in the office, has sowed a seed in my mind re recording our trip in different ways, she suggested that Nick might enjoy taking some video footage! So as a result we've spent much if the afternoon exploring The Glades shopping centre in Bromley and purchasing a small camcorder! Next challenge is to work out how to use it or maybe I'll just leave Nick to work it out. I'm not sure what Chris has in mind to do with the footage or what hopes she's invested in Nick's filming skills, will be interesting to see!
Off to meet our 1st overnight hosts now, great excitement. We're going to time ourselves pitching our tent each evening, no pressure this evening as we want to set a low bench mark that we'll hopefully be able to improve on!
